Your Work in God and His Work in You

Obedience is not something that is held as a virtue today. Yet obedience is what we are called to do as followers of Christ. Here is a call to pursue righteousness, humility, love, and sacrifice. A call to put away bitterness, rivalry, pride, and grumbling.

Let us heed this call and see the grace that God has so wonderfully provided so that this work can be done in us.



Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
