In this sermon we explore the entrance of sin into God's good creation. Where did sin come from? Where did Satan come from?

Not only do we consider the source of sin, this passage teaches us about temptation, about sin's consequence, and most importantly, sin's remedy. In a time where sin has corrupted God's good creation, God's grace is seen extended to Adam and Eve and the entire race.



Genesis

"In the beginning..." We live in a day and age where there are so many different opinions on our origins. What we see from Scripture is that Genesis lays the foundation for all important Christian doctrines and neither science or new theologies can undermine what God has said.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary.
