Taking Dominion

This message examines the first command given in Scripture, to be fruitful and multiply, subdue the earth and take dominion over all living creatures. We examine what that means, how we've failed, and how Christ, in the new humanity, gives greater meaning to this task of taking dominion.



Genesis

"In the beginning..." We live in a day and age where there are so many different opinions on our origins. What we see from Scripture is that Genesis lays the foundation for all important Christian doctrines and neither science or new theologies can undermine what God has said.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary.
