Postmillenialism

Recent discussions on Christian Nationalism and Theonomy (see previous seminars) have often turned to matters of eschatology. It is maintained that eschatology is connected to how one views cultural engagement. Many assume that postmillenialism is the underlying commitment. However, in this seminar, moving past labels, Pastor Tim presents the eschatology of hope presented in the New Testament and in history. As William Carey put it, when we expect great things from God, we attempt great things for God.

Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
