Laying Your Gold in the Dust

Pastor Tim considers the final counsel of Eliphaz in Job 22. In poetic language, he touches on one of the most important truths in our pursuit of God--repentance. He defines repentance in an excellent way and specifically targets greed. May this truth help us put God first and experience the joy of having him as our gold, him as our treasure!

Job

The book of Job deals with the topic of suffering. But even more profound that questions surrounding suffering are questions surrounding the nature of God. This book, and thus this sermon series, explores the nature and character of God. The goal, to say with Job from a place of comfort in the midst of suffering, "I had heard of you by the hearing of the ear, but now my eye sees you" (Job 42:5).
