Joy in Christ

The Christian life should be a life of rejoice. In fact, we're commanded to rejoice. The key to this command is to understand what it means to rejoice in the Lord or have joy in Christ.

We're bombarded by promises of joy through a variety of things. This sermon explores some of those offers of joy that are so temporary or lead us into danger. Then we consider joy in Christ and why that joy is a solid, eternal, unshakable joy!

Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
