God’s Glory Alone

God rescues sinners by grace alone, in Christ alone, through faith alone so that he is magnified and glorified. This brings us great joy to recognize and see the glory of God in salvation.

We see here God's sovereign grace, his election or choice, and how that leads to his glory. We see the work of Christ, and how that leads to God's glory. Then we see the work of the Spirit in keeping us faithful in Christ, and how that leads to God's glory. In all things, may God and God alone be glorified.

The Five Solas

The five solas of the Protestant Reformation defined the doctrines of Scripture recovered in the 16th century. They are no less relevant today since they speak to the eternal truths of God.

Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
