Fellowship and Hospitality

The early church was devoted to the apostles teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. Two of these four, fellowship and breaking of bread, would likely not define the what the modern church is devoted to. As we transition as a church to a new facility and community, it is important that we are devoted to hospitality and table fellowship in our homes and in the church.

This sermon is a call to value home hospitality and participation in the weekly fellowship meal.

Tim Stephens

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
