"The church is God’s supernatural community, beginning from his plan and choice before time began, a people rescued from sin by his lavish grace in Christ from all the nations of the world; to be holy and blameless; to be adopted as sons; to receive an inheritance and be his inheritance; to live under his righteous rule; so that he might display the glory of his power, wisdom, and grace to all creatures in heaven and on earth."
