Christ: Superior to Angels (Part 1)

Christ is presented as far superior to angels so that we would not forsake him and take refuge in him. In this text we see that angels are God's servants but Christ is God's Son. Angels are made to worship and Christ is the object of their worship.



Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
