Christ Became a Curse for Us

Bible Text: Galatians 3:10-13 |

In this sermon, Pastor Tim reminds us from Galatians 3:13 that Jesus died for an important purpose. The reviling, shame, and wrath he endured was so that the curse upon us might fall upon him and rescue us in reconciling us to God. Friday is so good because Christ won our salvation through his death.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
