Be Content With What You Have

We think prosperity will bring contentment. But contentment proves more difficult with prosperity! In this sermon, we examine why that is and how we can be content in all things.

We'll ask why contentment is difficult, what does it look like to be content, and finally, how do you do it. Only through the strength of Christ and the glories of God can we be truly content in any and every circumstance.



Hebrews

In the book of Hebrews we are reminded again and again of the supremacy of Christ. It is a call to see Christ as the greatest treasure and to cling to him in faith and with all your might. May this book stir our hearts to love Christ more and more.

Tim Stephens is the senior pastor of Fairview Baptist Church. Tim grew up on a farm in Eastern Ontario and has graduated with a Computer Engineering degree from Queen’s University, a Masters of Divinity degree from Detroit Baptist Theological Seminary, and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Ministry in Expository Preaching at the Master’s Seminary. He is happily married to Raquel and they have eight children.
