In the letter to the Philippian church, Paul thanks God for their partnership in the gospel. The church in Philippi not only aided Paul in his work to make the gospel known, but they also were striving for the advance of the gospel in their own city. This gospel partnership is the task of every church being the outworking of the great commission given to us by Jesus.
