On Friday, August 26, we are going to gather for a time of fellowship and baptism at Bowness Park (8900 48 Ave. NW) located along the Bow River between Stoney Tr. and 85 St. NW.
We have the site booked from 3:15-9:15pm, so feel free to come and go as you please. Supper will commence at around 5pm and the baptism at 7pm.
Parking is available on site, but it may be limited, so carpooling is encouraged. We’ll be meeting at “Picnic Site 4.” It will be a potluck-style event, and the site has picnic tables and BBQs that we can use.
As we’ll spend both the afternoon and evening together in fellowship, please come prepared with the following:
- Food to share
- Chairs/blanket
- Sunscreen or shade
- Water
- Bug spray
